Description

The fishing casting egg is a float designed for targeting fish feeding on or near the surface. It can be used in several ways. You can tie the casting egg to the end of the line and have a couple of hooks above it. These can either be baited with strips of fish or with small lures. You then cast out and keep a tight line whilst the float drifts around in the current. In-line: Attach your mainline to the fixed ring and a 3′ to 5′ trace to one of the swivels. Put the lure of your choice on the end of the trace and just cast out and slowly retrieve. ‘Wobbly’ controller: By fixing the trace to one swivel and your mainline to the other swivel it causes the Cast Ball to wobble from side to side on the retrieve. This creates a disturbance which can help to draw fish towards the lure.
